Today (22 April) at the Carnegie hall in the United States, there are reports that Thai youths have won the first prize in dryer music by Mr. Nichan Phitthayathorn, student of the College of Music. Mahidol University Post a message via Facebook revealed that the event was impressive with a team of Thai musicians won the prize of the the woodwinds and brass American Protégé contest. And there are 3 other winners in the category under the age of 18.
Mr. Nichan said, "First of all, I would like to thank all of you for supporting the Yamaha Band & Orchestra, Team Thailand, ThaiBev and the College of Music, Mahidol University that supports until there is an opportunity to participate in the Carnegie hall. And would like to thank the piano players who have flown over the world for over 27 hours and played superbly on stage Including thanking Thai people for giving this opportunity to be a representative to compete.
